I'm a Chatterbox gets back to work in Doubledogdare

I'm a Chatterbox, one of the nation's leading three-year-old fillies last season, is set to make her season debut Friday in the $100,000 Doubledogdare at Keeneland. A field of nine fillies and mares will travel 1 1/16 miles.

Last seen finishing eighth in the Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1) in October, I'm a Chatterbox saw her chances at a divisional championship end with that sub-par performance. The daughter of Munnings was arguably the favorite to secure that title going in, having captured the Cotillion (G1), Fair Grounds (G2), and Rachel Alexandra (G3) with placings in the Kentucky Oaks (G1), Coaching Club American Oaks (G1) and Alabama (G1).

Florent Geroux, who rode the filly exclusively at three, retains the mount for trainer Larry Jones.

Ahh Chocolate is the most accommplished of the rest. The Candy Ride four-year-old hit her best stride last fall, winning the Falls City H. (G2) at Churchill Downs in November. Third in her March 18 comeback, the $50,000 Esplanade at Fair Grounds, the Candy Ride filly is trained by Neil Howard, who won two races at Keeneland last Saturday, including the Ben Ali (G3) with Eagle.

Other potential contenders include Grade 3-placed White Clover, winner of minor stakes at Delaware Park and Tampa Bay Downs, and Back in Dixie, who enters on a five-race win streak, the last two in Oaklawn allowances for Ingrid Mason.
