Indiana Grand stakes plays for Oct. 30

Race 4 - Fillies S.

The once-beaten #8 Holy Justice (3-5) has bagged a pair of stakes races at the meeting and is the clear one to beat in this affair on the cutback in distance. But I think that she will get tested by recent maiden heroine #6 Unbridled Victory (6-1) for conditioner Bernie Flint. The January foal overcame a tardy break to record a game tally in her second career run, and I feel that she will prosper with the extra distance while making her stakes bow.

Race 5 - Unreachable Star S.

A total of nine will run 1 1/16 miles in the $150,000 endeavor. #2 Cash Logistics (3-5) is the class and speed of the field as a most imposing contender in the cast. The Gigi Londono pupil sports a 9-6-2-0 mark on the surface, and anything less than a win would be a surprise from the four-year-old gelding.

#1 Barefootbootlegger (30-1) offers huge value for the vertical exotics from the rail. The Steve Fosdick trainee has not been in great current form, but the chestnut shows a few solid recent drills, and I think he will always be in top-three range while using his tactical speed from the inside post slot. Eduardo Perez will ride.

Race 6 - Crown Ambassador S.

The six-furlong dirt dash for juveniles attracted a sizable field of 11. #1 Too Bad Justice (6-1) is a maiden following two solid career tries, but I like his chances to graduate in a black-type race, nonetheless. The gelded son of Harry’s Holiday was all heart when second to a major contender in this field most recently, and I expect him to receive a more favorable trip on Saturday with Joe Ramos inheriting the mount.

Race 7 - Lady Fog Horn S.

An overflow field of 14 fillies and mares will go postward in the 1 1/16-mile affair. The Jeff Greenhill-conditioned #9 Hitthefloorrunning (8-1) is still a mystery at the distance, but there is no doubting her ability. The gray four-year-old has displayed a fine turn of foot when sprinting, and if she gets a good pace set up, then I feel that she will be able to produce a similar run in this route offering. She offers great value at her morning-line number under DeShawn Parker.
