Kentucky Derby Dream Bet picks for San Felipe, Tampa Bay Derby from James Scully

The speedy colt retains the services of Mike Smith and is well-drawn in post 2. And I’m expecting to see up-and-coming Danzing Candy flash to the front at the start and lead all the way.

The Tampa Bay Derby marks the return of Grade 1 winner Brody’s Cause, who was last seen finishing third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1). And the late runner couldn’t have a better set-up on paper for his return, with confirmed speedballs Morning Fire and Awesome Banner, along with possibly Outwork, appearing to guarantee a hot and contested pace.
