Tower of Texas
20-1
Eurico Da Silva
Coming off a series of near misses going shorter you would think at first glance a mile is what this 5 year old needs. Closer inspection shows a 1-3 record at the distance. BUT one was a win in the G2 King Edward, one was a toss where he was over matched in last year's Mile and the last was a 3rd in this years King Edward off nearly a year layoff. He has shown forward progression since returning to the races and if indeed a mile is his best distance then he stands a shot to pick up a check at a price.

Mutakayyef
7-2
Dane O'Neill
Although he isn't a household name this import brings in some serious Euro cred including a solid third last out in the Juddemonte International. Whether he can stack up to our reigning Queen of the Turf or not I don't know but I think he is a logical runner up as he packs his A game everywhere he goes. Interesting they opt to not use Lasix.

Arod
10-1
Oisin Murphy
Has yet to pose for pictures this year against lesser and has been crushed versus Group 1 company. I could see him putting the heat to Tepin early but I think that he will have to deliver a career best performance to steal the win here.

Glenville Gardens
20-1
Gary Boulanger
If you're looking for a horse for course look no further. 5 outs and 4 wins tops the stats in this field but this is a huge class test for the 4 year old. He did win the local prep for the Mile, he loves to win, is on a streak and with his pouncing style will get first jump should Tepin fail to fire. He has also bested a few in this field and has some upside at a big price.

Full Mast
12-1
Joel Rosario
His worse North American start has been locally with a 4th place finish in the King Edward where he disappointed as the favorite. Its Bill Mott so there is always a chance he rebounds in a big way but I don't think he can touch Tepin. Pass.

Passion for Action
20-1
Luis Contreras
I find it hard to make a case for this local runner. Might be best sprinting and I think the class exceeds him. His last running lines say "in vain". I concur.

Mr. Owen
15-1
Jamie Spencer
Seems to be his 2015 form was better and he only managed to beat 3 in last years edition. Based on that and the fact that he is winless on the year I would say that his best bet is a small check here rather than the lion's share.

Tepin
1-2
Julien Leparoux
It has been a long time since the Queen of the Turf has tasted defeat. She has bested males, trotted to Royal Ascot for a scintillating win in the Queen Anne, shes won gate to wire, shes relaxed and she has won beyond a mile. Leparoux has been the key to her and while he hasn't worked her lately (and she has been working better than usual) he will be back aboard today and that's a plus in my book. For me it's all systems go for Tepin to add another notch to her belt. She has had plenty of time to recoup from her trip overseas, shes in good form and should be fine from a pace standpoint. The price is the only drawback.

Tepin on top is a no brainer and you should take advantage of TwinSpires promo of Even Money on her if you can. The money will lie underneath her. I like Tower of Texas returning to a mile to turn the tables on Glenville Gardens. Mutakayyef is a must use because he has been a consistent in the money performer. I also want to throw Glenville Gardens in because he has been solid locally.
