Stuart Janney’s homebred Onus will enter Saturday’s $200,000 Mrs. Revere (G2) at Churchill Downs on quite a roll, reeling off convincing wins in her last three outings, and the up-and-coming daughter of Blame heads an overflow cast of 18 3-year-olds fillies in the 1 1/16-mile turf test.

After defeating maiden special weight and entry-level allowance foes by a combined 18 lengths, the gray filly made a seamless transition to graded stakes company last time for Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey, romping by 4 ½ lengths in the September 26 Commonwealth Oaks (G3) at Laurel Park. She also registered whopping BRIS numbers – a 103 Speed and 109 Late Pace – for the impressive showing.

Onus will retain the services of Forest Boyce and break from post 7 in the Mrs. Revere.

Only 14 will be allowed to start, with four fillies listed on the also-eligible list, and Partisan Politics is in the main body of field. Conditioned by Chad Brown, the daughter of More Than Ready exits a 1 ½-length score in the October 12 Pebbles at Belmont Park and will be seeking her third overall stakes tally. Javier Castellano will be in for the mount. Brown will also be represented by the Grade 3-placed Tammy the Torpedo, who recently returned from a 12-month hiatus with a sharp allowance win at Belmont. Florent Geroux picks up the mount.

Celestine merits serious respect if ready to go off the layoff. Last seen taking the Wild Applause at Belmont in mid-June, the Scat Daddy filly has won her last four starts for Hall of Famer Bill Mott. She’ll have to overcome the far outside post with new rider Shaun Bridgmohan. Trainer Todd Pletcher has the stakes-winning Isabella Sings, a nose second in the Boilings Springs (G3) two starts back; and Christophe Clement will send out multiple stakes queen Devine Aida, who finished second in the aforementioned Pebbles.

Prado’s Sweet Ride displayed an affinity for the local turf when taking the Regret (G3) on June 9 and followed with a close third in the Pucker Up (G3) at Arlington Park. Miguel Mena rides the Chris Block trainee. Other runners include Return to Grace, fifth most recently in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) at Keeneland; Robillard, who exits an allowance romp at Keeneland; and Grade 3 winner Rainha Da Bateria.
