Palm Beach Friday Matinee Preview 3/20/2015

March 20th, 2015

*Storm Control*

Welcome to the weekend! Fabulous Friday action is on tap for the Card today at Palm Beach. Three time Stakes winner Storm Control in Race 14 highlights a superstar filled day, along with season wins leader Hustle It Up going for win #24 in Race 10. Should be entertaining for fans and players all afternoon long.

Here are the top races I will be following for the Matinee at “The Beach.”

*Hustle It Up*

Race 10 Grade A 545 Yards

The hot rookie meets the season wins leader in this one.

#5 Hustle It Up from the Janie Carroll Kennel has been most impressive this year. An 89% board hitter and two time Stakes Finalist, she still has the best shot of taking home the Track Championship in June.

Bally’s Arthur from the hottest Kennel at Palm Beach B & B Racing has burst on the scene in the past two months. Has zinged two straight wins and gets the pole position box to fire from again today. Last time out, he got the win in 29.41 secs from this same box. Setup to go without a doubt here.

Look out for #8 Tah Tyler and #7 Pat C Shyne to hit the back of the ticket as well.

Bally’s Arthur continues his torrid streak and gets the win today.

Storm Control St Pats

*Storm Control & Team*

Race 14 Grade A 545 Yards

The world will be tuning in to see the Champ, #8 Storm Control from owner Steve Schlachter.

One of the best lid flippers on the planet, Storm is coming off his $50,000 St Patrick’s Day Invitational win and will sprint to the front of the pack immediately.

The only closer in this race that could possibly calm the Storm is #7 Atascocita Deja from Suncoast Kennel. Loves mid track and should have plenty of room to go after Storm clears the pack.

Watch out for #1 JS ToHotToHandle from owner Shannon Henry, who will be one of the favorites in next month’s Puppy Stakes.

Watch the future All-American roll today, as Storm Control gets career win # 36 this afternoon.

Picks 8-1-7-6

*Atascocita Sybil*

Race 15 Grade TA 738 Yards

The best in the Marathon wrap it all up this afternoon in the finale.

#3 Atascocita Sybil from Suncoast Racing I consider the best at this distance but has looked underwhelming in her last two starts. Has the rare combo of great rush and even better close and should rebound this afternoon.

Look out for the most dynamic closer in the entire club, Kennel mate of Sybil #1 Atascocita Jolie. Just her fourth start at this distance and her first time firing from the 1 hole. Will break close to last but she is a must watch on the backstretch as she will move quickly to the front once she gets going.

I’m going with Sybil to get back to the winner’s circle to end the Matinee Card.

Picks 3-1-4-5
Top Pick Race 14- #8 Storm Control
