Welcome to 2016 Palm Beach fans! After arguably the best calendar year of racing we’ve ever seen here, the next year has a lot to live up to. We are now exactly halfway through the racing season and you can expect the second half to be just as exciting as the first.

Here are the top 10 greyhounds for December at "The Beach."

#1 Ethel Is Here  ~ Middle Distance  ~  Janie Carroll Kennel

~15 wins on the season, 37.13 secs best ever time (Track Record)

Simply one of the best middle distance racers in the country. Ethel broke her own Track Record on 12/11 and now sports the fastest three 660 yard times in history here.  Currently tied for the season wins lead.  The hands down Derby favorite heading into next months Tournament.

#2 Kb's Like A Fox  ~ Super Sprinter ~  Rader Racing

~15 wins on the season, 16.37 secs best ever time (Track Record)

The legend himself got his 80th career win this month and solidified that he is the best ever super sprinter the sport has seen.  Sits just 5 wins short of the all time  record at Palm Beach.  Is looking for a record third straight Track Championship.

#3 Superior Tyson  ~ Sprinter  ~ B & B Racing

~11 wins on the season, 29.21 secs best ever time

Tyson has lit up the Royal Palm Course the past two months, firing off 7 straight victories heading into the He's My Man Classic.  Watch his times when he gets out in front because when he wins, he wins big.

#4 Sg's Tom Seaver  ~ Sprinter  ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~9 wins on the season, 29.46 secs best ever time

The most prolific rookie we've seen here since JS SpeedyPebbles.  Has rifled off nine wins in 10 starts with an outstanding rush to the first turn. "Tom Terrific" could be an all time great.

#5 Pat C Short Cut  ~ Sprinter  ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins

~9 wins on the season, 29.12 secs best ever time

"Shorty" cooled off a bit in December only getting one victory. The Daytona 550 representative from Palm Beach can heat up at any time and possesses the most lethal close of any greyhound here when he's on.

#6 Barts Dublin  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

~15 wins on the season, 29.34 secs best ever time

The "Luck of the Irish" is still tied for the season wins lead, but will need to pick up the pace if he's to stay in the hunt with Ethel and Fox.  The best board hitter at Palm Beach with a ridiculous 91% rate.

#7 Kay Beowulf  ~ Sprinter  ~ Rader Racing

~6 wins on the season, 29.55 secs best ever time

Beowulf burst on the scene this holiday season, flying home for the $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity Title.  Good young rookie to continue following as the year goes along.

#8 BF Par Snipe  ~  Sprinter  ~ Agganis Kennel

~13 wins on the season, 29.58 secs best ever time

Snipe is currently on a break, but should return to racing soon.  Amazing lid popping ability this greyhound sports.

#9 AMF Wild Burst  ~ Sprinter  ~ B & B Racing

~13 wins on the season, 29.50 secs best ever time

Burst is having a solid season for the top Kennel right now at "The Beach" B & B Racing.  Two opening round wins in the Classic has his Team thinking about 50K.

#10 Classy Saydel  ~ Sprinter  ~ B & B Racing

~13 wins on the season, 29.46 secs best ever time

Saydel has kept it classy all season long and is in the thick of the season wins chase.
