*Ethel Is Here*

Look whose leading the rankings again.

Another fantastic month of racing just wrapped up at the Palm Beach Kennel Club!  With an epic Derby Final won by Ethel Is Here and the $50,000 St Patrick's Invitational coming up in less then two weeks, things are heating up in South Florida.  Many of the top athletes stayed in the rankings, but a few new comers have emerged that want a puppy piece of the top contenders.

Here are the Top 10 Rankings for February at "The Beach."

#1 Ethel Is Here  ~ Middle Distance  ~Janie Carroll Kennel

~24 wins on the season, 37.13 secs best ever time (Track Record)

For the fourth straight month, Ethel leads the way.  She put an exclamation mark on her career by winning the $50,000 3/8ths Mile Derby last Saturday and possibly locked up an All-American spot with the victory.  She is simply an unbelievable talent and one of the top athletes to ever race at Palm Beach period.

#2 Craigie Renegade ~ Super Sprinter  ~ Rader Racing

~10 wins on the season, 16.34 secs best ever time (Track Record)

One of the hottest rookies this track has ever seen. Renegade stunned fans around the country when he broke the all time super sprint record this month with a 16.34 secs blazer in just his 11th start.  Will be transferring to Southland Park soon, so enjoy this sensation while he is here.

#3 Barts Dublin  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

The "Luck of the Irish" continues to have a breakout rookie campaign.  His win total is second only to Ethel this season. One of the best combo rush/closers in the game today.

#4 Xtenshun  ~ Sprinter  ~ North Shore Kennel

The "Ultimate Longshot" He's My Man Champion continued to roll in February posting 3 wins.  One of the toughest greyhounds to catch on the lead and could put himself into super stardom if he can win the St Pats Invite on March 12th.

The Dick Andrews Futurity Champion followed up his performance by nearly stealing the Derby before settling in for the place finish behind Ethel Is Here.  Is the most versatile athlete currently at Palm Beach.

#6 Superior Tyson  ~ Sprinter  ~ B & B Racing
