Palm Beach Top 10 Rankings October 2016

What a fantastic month of racing just concluded at The Palm Beach Kennel Club!  In what has become a wild west shoot out this season with parity all over the place, new stars seem to be emerging every month.  This last month was no different.

Here's our Top 10 Rankings for October at "The Beach."

#1 Superior Tyson ~ Sprinter  ~ B & B Racing

~ 8 wins on the season, 29.21 secs best ever time

"Kid Dynamite" simply put on a smoke show throughout the entire month.  Four straight victories to end October, with each one putting a hurting on the poor stopwatch.  With a stellar rush and a knockout close, Tyson is clearly the top pick for a National Championship invite to Daytona in January at this point.

#2 Fraulein Morgan  ~ Middle Distance  ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~ 14 wins on the season, 37.53 secs best ever time

"The Bachelorette" has been the most consistent greyhound of any athlete here this season.  The current wins leader is on borrowed time at Palm Beach, as she is set to go back to Hollywood (Mardi Gras) starting in December.  Carroll's team has been dynamite on the "Rhonda" Course the entire season.

#3 Ethel Is Here  ~ Middle Distance  ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~ 9 wins on the season, 37.13 secs best ever time (Track Record)

The living legend just continues to add to her legacy.  Ethel is in her third racing season at Palm Beach and quickly found her stride in October, ending the month on a hot streak.  Can she continue her solid running into February to defend her Derby title? Her throng on fans around the world certainly hope so.

#4 GV MooseIsLoose  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

~ 12 wins on the season, 29.48 secs best ever time

The Mooooooose cooled off a bit last month, only posting two victories. Still possesses one of the best box breaks in the country and is currently on the short list for a Daytona 550 invitation.  Just turned two years old last July, so many more races are ahead for the sensational sprinter.

#5 Whirlin Toodlelu  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

~ 10 wins on the season, 29.23 secs best ever time

"Toodles" may be the most lethal finisher at Palm Beach.  Won four straight to end the month, all of which had thrilling endings with Toodlelu taking it.  Originally named Greta after retired Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren. Toodlelu is set for a monster stakes season if she can keep up this pace.

#6 Cbj Tootsie Roll  ~ Sprinter  ~ Royal Racing

~ 8 wins on the season, 29.45 secs best ever time

The Tootsie Roll has turned on the star power since the Fall racing season started.  The pride of owner Carmen Jorgensen has blinding early speed and is a hot prospect to watch as we head into stakes action in the next few months.

#7 Blu Too Tarmac  ~ Sprinter  ~ Royal Racing

~ 8 wins on the season, 29.33 secs best ever time.

"Big Mac" has been a top Grade A greyhound going on two seasons now. Always a threat to fly the W, especially if he gets his preferred mid track box.

#8 Ice Buster  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

~ 10 wins on the season, 29.36 secs best ever time

Seriously....how deep is the Douglas Kennel this season? Their newest sensation is the Ice Man, who is out to prove he is the best of the best on the Royal Palm Sprint Course. Currently 5th in the season wins chase.

#9 Pepper Cream  ~ Super Sprinter  ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~ 11 wins on the season, 16.35 secs best ever time

In the ever changing battlefield that is the Kb's Like A Fox Super Sprint Course, Pepper continues to be the most consistent on it.  Three straight victories in October have the Carroll Kennel thinking of a possible track championship at the end of the season for their super sprint star.

#10 Barts Big Bang  ~ Sprinter  ~ Douglas Kennel

~ 7 wins on the season, 29.19 secs best ever time

It all started with a big bang and one race put this guy right on the map. On October 18th, Big Bang sizzled the third fastest sprint time of the season with a 29.19 secs victory that had fans left in amazement.  One hot puppy player to keep your eye on going forward.
