Palm Beach Wednesday Matinee Preview 12/10/2014
*Ethel Is Here*
Welcome to the 2nd Round of the Dick Andrews Futurity! Not only will the young superstars of Palm Beach be running today, but #1 Ranked Ethel Is Here starts in the 9th as well! Should be a fantastic day of racing this afternoon. Here are the top races I will be following for the Wednesday Matinee at “The Beach.”

*KB's Like A Fox*
Race 4 Grade TA 301 Yards
Last years Track Champion #3 KB’s Like A Fox from Rader Racing couldn’t have been happy about being upset by #6 Aye Doctor Ron last time out. Fox has 46 career wins and is one of the top super sprinters of all time here.
Doctor Ron has really looked impressive in the past month, but I just can’t see Fox losing two in a row. Give me the Fox for the W here.
Picks 3-6-4-8
*Ethel Is Here*
Race 9 Grade TA 660 Yards
The TwinSpires #1 Ranked racer currently at “The Beach” is #4 Ethel Is Here from the Janie Carroll Kennel. Will be the heavy favorite in this one and she should be after just getting nipped at the line last time out. Track record time last month of 37.28 secs and hasn’t lost two in a row since September. Go with the megastar here with an inside jailbreak play.
Picks 4-1-3-2
Race 14 Grade SA 545 Yards
The best closer in all of South FLA is #8 AMF Pushover from B & B Racing. My pick to win the $20,000 Final the day after Christmas, he gets the prime 8 box to fire out of this afternoon. He will be looking for his 4th straight W and should cruise into the QuaterFinals.
Watch out for #1 Tremendous Ron from top Kennel Rader Racing. Hot 1 box should give him the lead early in this one.
Nice price could come on #3 JS Jump For Joy from all-star owner Shannon Henry. “Joy” Has run one of the fastest times of any greyhound this season, blazing a 29.39 secs W a few months back.
I’m sticking with Pushover throughout this entire Tourney and he should get back to the winner’s circle again this afternoon.
Picks 8-1-3-2
Race 15 Grade SA 545 Yards
Rader Racing has another potential beast runner in #3 JJ’s Tango. Has won 7 of his first 10 starts and blitzed the fastest race time of any greyhound in this Tournament in the first round with a 29.48 secs split. Is the most talented runner in this field and should dominate yet again today.
Possible upset could come from #8 Change from the North Shore Kennel. Sitting in a nice spot mid-track and is already a 50% winner in his very young career.
Have to put #2 Loop A in any Exotic plays, as he has been in the Quinela in 6 of his first 7 starts all time.
I'd be shocked if it was anybody but Tango taking the victory in the finale.
Picks 3-2-8-1
