Tampa Bay Downs will host a 10-race card loaded with two-year-old runners on Saturday.
Race 7 Wager
- $1 Pick 3: 2,5,8 with 7,9,10 with 3,5,10 ($27)
Race 7 – Maiden Special Weight
A group of 11 juvenile ladies will speed six panels on the main surface in the opening leg of the sequence. Glen Hill homebred #5 Lightscape (4-1) has a two-year-old winning sibling and is training in forward fashion in advance of her first offering. The daughter of top sire Practical Joke will have Samuel Marin in the irons.
#8 Duchess Eleanor (6-1) has flashed ability in both lifetime races to date and wouldn’t be a big surprise for Gerald Bennet, who is off to a good start to this meeting. #2 Endless Glory (5-2) has a good turn of foot and will be able to save ground from a post near the fence. The chestnut is kin to a juvenile winner and will have Rodriguez on board.
Race 8 – Maiden Special Weight
Ten colts and one gelding will dash six furlongs on the dirt in the middle piece of the play. #7 Scrambler (5-1) runs for solid two-year-old conditioner O’Connell and is by fine 22% freshman sire Yaupon, so there is a good chance that the $70,000 yearling will be live on debut.
#9 Jamalamadingdong (5-2) ran into a fine winner in his unveiling at Gulfstream Park, and the son of solid win early sire Cajun Breeze was second at every call and gamely held the place spot in the dash. The Michael Yates pupil put in a swift half-mile work in his most recent morning spin and looms large beneath Rios. #10 Beach Beamer (12-1) ran into a pair of talented horses that have finished second in subsequent stakes races this campaign and rates a big chance second time out. The Omaha Beach colt drilled a bullet-five eighths on the oval as of late, too.
Sneaky Good is a nice debut winner in R7 at @keeneland for trainer @bradcoxracing with @iradortiz in the saddle! 🏇

Race 9 – Sandpiper S.
A cast of 10 juvenile fillies will run six panels in the co-feature of the day. #10 Sneaky Good (5-2) led at every call in a strong debut win at Keeneland and gets a nice outside draw for her stakes bow. The $450,000 Into Mischief filly from the Brad Cox shedrow will be tough with even slight improvement today beneath Gallardo.
#5 My Miss Mo (2-1) aired in her second run against Florida-bred foes for Saffie Joseph, and the daughter of Uncle Mo wouldn’t be a surprise. Joseph’s other filly #3 Tahlequah (12-1) gave up ground throughout her seven-furlong debut at Gulfstream and still finished a close second while well clear of third. The Authentic filly is interesting to me in the affair at an expected nice price under Husbands.
