A total of four graded stakes events will take place at Woodbine on Saturday, and three of those will be included in the Pick 3 of the Week.
Race 8 Wager
- $1 Pick 3: 1,2 with 1,2,3,7 with 7,8,9 ($24)
Race 8 – Selene (G3)
A cast of three-year-old fillies will jaunt 1 1/16 miles over the synthetic strip in the first part of the play. #2 Luster (3-1) was dominant in her first two career tries prior to burning a lot of money when third in her first run on the course last time, but the leading choice remains a major threat in the field, nonetheless. The Knicks Go filly from the Josie Carroll shedrow could peak in her third run off the bench with Aebly retaining the mount.
#1 Dixie Law (2-1) was accomplished as a juvenile and beat the top choice while making her 2026 debut last time out. The Tiz the Law sophomore is proven both on the oval and at the distance, and the bay has a great post on the inside of the field, as well. Regular pilot Rafael Hernandez will be in the irons.
LUSTER is a dominant winner and stays perfect in race 4 at Keeneland for trainer @jcarrollracing with @ljlmvel aboard! 💪

Race 9 – Dominion Day (G3)
The boys will run 1 1/8 miles on the Tapeta surface in the middle leg of the sequence. Millionaire #1 Paramount Prince (5-2) is the controlling pace of the race, moving from seven panels to nine, and the old class horse has to be given a chance in a deep field for Mark Casse.
I will also use classic winner #2 Runaway Again (8-1), course specialist #3 Wyoming Bill (10-1), and Josie Carroll’s multiple stakes victor #7 Notorious Gangster (2-1).
Race 10 – Royal North (G3)
A full field of fillies and mares will vie in the 7 1/2-furlong turf affair. This is a really good one at a unique distance, so multiple contenders are in with a legitimate chance in the final leg of the sequence. I’ll tab a trio of runners that will come from off the pace in the dash in a race full of frontrunners. Grade 3 heroine #7 Pondering (15-1), Whimsical (G3) starlet #8 Reagan’s Flame (7-2), and Ballston Spa (G2) victress #9 Ozara (5-2) will make the ticket to close out the play.
