A pair of graded stakes tilts will commence the Pick 3 of the Week at Woodbine on Saturday.
Race 9 Wager
$1 Pick 3: 1,2,8,12 with 1,2,3,7 with 4,7,9 ($48)
Race 9 – Bessarabian S. (G3)
An overflow field of 16 is entered to run seven-eighths on the all-weather to kick off the play. There are too many classy ladies in the tilt to single one, so I will spread to kick things off. Recent Grade 3 victress #1 Love Cervere has yet to try a synthetic strip, but the talented sophomore is consistently very good and has to be on the ticket.
Ontario Fashion S. (G3) victress #2 Les Reys, Godolphin stakes winner #8 Pondering, and 2024 King’s Plate starlet #12 Caitlinhergrtness will be included.

Race 10 – Autumn S. (G3)
A baker’s dozen will run 1 1/8 miles on the main surface in a challenging middle piece of the wager. #1 Swift Delivery was a big winner of the Seagrams Cup (G3) on the oval in August and will be a major factor with something resembling that performance.
Potential pacesetter, #2 Paramount Prince, is a six-time winner on the course and comes off a huge allowance win most recently. #3 Dresden Row was a good runner-up in the heat in 2024 and wouldn’t be a surprise under Ryan Munger. Dominion Day S. (G3) star #7 Funtastic Again will also be in the mix.
Race 11 – Optional Claiming
A big group of fillies and mares will jaunt 6 1/2 furlongs on the Tapeta to conclude the play. #4 Home for A Rest has been first or second in four races in succession and drilled a bullet four panels leading up to this tilt, too. The Souper Speedy filly will be doing her best work from off the pace beneath Daisuke Fukumoto.
#9 Give Me the Boots is an eight-time winner on the surface with good early speed, and the Rachel Halden charge received a nice post outside of the other pace in the group, as well. The chestnut mare will be a big number beneath Campos. Barbara Minshall’s #7 Fourfiftyfour has won or placed in seven straight in advance of this one, and she possesses a nice turn of foot in a field with a lot of early gas.
