Pick 4 of the Week: Monmouth Park Saturday, June 13

Updated: June 11th, 2026

Three of the four stakes races to be hosted by Monmouth Park on Saturday will be part of the Pick 4 of the Week.

Race 4 Wager

  • $.50-cent Pick 4: 1,6,7 with all with 4,8 with 6,10 ($36)

Race 4 – Eatontown (G3)

Fillies and mares will run 1 1/16 miles on the grass to commence the play. Multiple Group 1 heroine #1 Gimme a Nother (2-1) is the one to beat from the rail for Graham Motion. The six-year-old South African capped her 2025 season with a stylish score in the John C. Mabee (G2) at Del Mar and has trained forwardly in the interim. She has been very good on a trio of runs over firm turf since arriving in North America and looms large in this affair under Jorge Ruiz.

I’ll also include both contenders from the Chad Brown shedrow. Grade 2 victress #6 Grayosh (3-1) ran a big one in her lone local run in the summer and figures to improve second time off the break. Morning-line choice #7 Whiskey Decision (8-5) won this race in going-away fashion in 2025 and wouldn’t be a surprise with Flavien Prat taking the reins.

Race 5 – Pegasus S.

Sophomores will run 1 1/16 miles on the main oval in the second leg. I do like the favored #4 Schoolyardsuperman (8-5) in general, but each of the six entrants in the cast looks to be on the upswing, and buying the race will give me more comfort with my ticket. I will utilize the ‘all’ button in this competitive tilt.

Race 6 – Monmouth S.

The boys will travel nine panels on the green in the penultimate leg of the play, and trainer Chad Brown has two formidable foes in the heat, led by Grade 1 victor #4 Program Trading (3-2), who appears to be an imposing figure in the group. The Lope de Vega six-year-old won in his lone local try and will race without blinkers after an experiment with the hood last time out. He is winless since 2024, however, and that's the sole reason that he is not a single in the sequence under Prat.

Brown’s #8 Nebras is the wildcard in the group and will likely be in the mix late since he’s entered in the race. The Dubawi chestnut was pretty good in 2025 and comes in with nine morning moves in advance of his stateside bow. He possesses good early speed that will translate well to this particular course with Tyler Gaffalione taking the reins.

Race 7 – Optional Claiming

New Jersey-bred males will travel two turns on the dirt to close out the play. The Cathal Lynch-trained #6 Last Romance (9-2) hasn’t crossed the wire first in a long time, but the gelding moves back in with state-bred runners, where he has enjoyed considerable success in the past. The Tapiture gelding owns three wins and four seconds on the course and is my top pick with Angel Cruz accepting the mount.

I don’t love the post for #10 Happy Offering (2-1), but the Chuck Spina charge has finished clear while in second in a pair of races in succession at the meeting and will be popular at the windows with top pilot Paco Lopez inheriting the ride.
