I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. Now let's try to win some of our money back!
My race of the night is Australia A race 6 post time of 9pm PT. This is a 6f race with benchmark 70 handicap. The morning line favorite of this group is the 6 horse BY THE VINES, As the baby of the bunch has had only 3 career starts. and has placed in all three, winning two of those. The 2 horse HOLY HEART will be vying for favoritism come post time. He loves the surface, which will be ran on a dead track. Out of his five career victories in 20 starts 3 of those wins have been on a dead race surface. Also, he is taking a big drop in class. These two horses could very well win this race, but I believe the odds will most likely be very short at post time.
My pick of the race is the 4 TIMELY TRUCE, with 8 career starts at the 6f mark,. Top jockey Chad Schofield will have the mount. TIMELY TRUCE has been in the running every single one of his races this year. This race he takes blinkers off for the first time and that could very well be the difference when they hit the wire. My long shot play is on the 10 PAPILLON. Could get there if all goes well. My selections 4-2-6-10. Good Luck and have fun!!
