Those of you that took my selections last week had a $17.60 winner and a $100.00 exacta, so let's try to do this again!

This is a benchmark 70 5 1/2 f race. A very good race in which several could win. We'll start off with the 2-POWER PLANT. He takes a big drop in class, and has placed in half off his 44 career starts. Adds blinkers. The next one I like is the 5-BALLROOM DANCE. This one loves the distance and the surface, which will be ran on a good track. At this distance with 7 starts, Ballroom dance has a record of 5 placings 0 wins. Could this be the day? On the good surface, he has 17 career starts placing in 11 of those while winning 4. He adds jockey Justin Stanley. My top selection is the 7-BLACKJACK DAVEY. He is in the best form of any. And top jockey Adrian Coome will give this horse every possible chance of winning with a very good trip. Blackjack Davey won in his last start at the benchmark of 70  in just 15 career starts he has placed in 9 of those, winning 5. It's hard to pass on a horse that has a 33% winning percentage. My long shot play is on the 10-WOODEN EYE JOE. He has been in good form all year. It would not be a surprise.
