Player Quick Pick for 2/27/2014

My original race was the 5th at Santa Anita, a Claiming (25) for 4&up F&M going a mile on the turf. However, Southern California is finally getting some much-needed rain and they have taken all races off the grass today.
Out of the original 10 horse field are the 2,3,5 and 8... so my wagering selections have changed. Of the horses who are left:
6-Lilly's Perfect has a very good percentage of getting in the money: in 32 career starts, this mare has placed 21 times. In her last start she came 4 wide into the lane and had all the looks of the winner, but drifted sharply in losing all momentum to win. If held together, she is a major threat. She finished 3rd behind what would've been my top selection the 8-Love Tale. My long shot bet is on the 7-Gittel. Adds Saul Arias on the mount. Has placed in 10 of 23 starts for over 100k in money earned. Nothing great stands out but I have a gut feeling he'll win this race.
