My top selection 1-Macias has scratched.
This makes my top pick 2-King of the Sky. This gelding is coming into this fresh off of a 75k dirt stakes race. He contended early but was simply out of his class. The big drop back down in class and back to turf might be enough to get him back to the winners circle. He has been racing in the most competitive of the bunch. Adds jockey Drayden Van Dyke.
I really think 4-Redboard should run a good race today. He has 3 wins in 18 starts, but it has been awhile since he has won.If he can find the form of two starts back, where he ran a 1:10 2/5 6f into a mile race, getting beat at the finish line. Well above average win rate at this distance/surface.
My long shot play is on the 6-Rich's Boy. He has a very good trainer/jockey combo winning at a 22% clip. He has won his last two starts against alot lesser than he will face today. Takes a significant jump in class. He had a very good workout on March 10th going 4f in 46 2/5.
