Australia C Race 2 Benchmark 75 Post Time 7PM PT Track . Good 3
This is a 4f race where the break from the gait and post position could be the deciding factor. Let's start with the 2 WESTERN SHADOW, I think is the speed of the race and has the 1 post. Takes a nice drop in class. His last race was at 6f and made the turn with 250 meters to go and just plugged in from there, for last place. The big drop in class plus running only half the distance, makes the horse a major threat. The next horse to look at is the 5 GREEN WITH ENVY as this is the distance that this one loves to run. He was in great form in 2013 placing in 3 straight races winning one of those. He makes his second start coming off of a long layoff and you should get a nice price. My top selection is the 4 GIRLS WORLD. The baby of the bunch and in just 6 career starts has won 3 and placed in 2 others. Loves the distance and surface. Won her last race on 12/27 at the same distance and surface. Kicked clear at the 200 meter mark and kept running away from them. Takes a small step up in class but I don't think it's a concern. My longshot play is on the 3 ELITE ATEATES. First race back after a 139 day layoff. But with top jockey Anthony Allen, he'll take advantage of his 2 post and most likely will have him jumping out quick.
