Race One:
1st: (6) SPEIGHT THE SNOW – only a three-year-old but has plenty of back class. She was a good third going two turns behind a repeat winner, then came back with an even effort going short. Ron Allen, Jr. rides back for Ron Potts.
2nd: (4) NONE THE WISER – went gate to wire two starts back here to break his maiden, then he tired last out against better. He drops down a notch in class and picks up Pablo Morales for the first time.
3rd: (1) WE CALLED SOL – was a good second at class and distance two starts back then was third against better.
Race Two:
1st: (8) GO SIMPLE – was an even third in his career debut, then came back and showed high speed to the deep stretch. He stretches out a bit more for Tim Hamm, who wins 21% against this maiden level and 18% with his two-year-olds.
2nd: (1) STANZ COMING – rallied to miss by a length in his career debut and showed that he can pass horses. He draws the rail with Martina Rojas, 13% with her sprint starters.
3rd: (3) LEFTNATEAWALKIN – tired in his career debut, then showed good speed last out.
Race Three:
1st: (4) LITTLE LAMB CHOP – horse for the course ran second in her first two starts this year, then she came back to beat state-bred allowance foes. She takes on open company for Adam Rice, who wins 28% first start after a win.
2nd: (6) COME TO MAMA – ran well two starts back here going this distance, then rallied for third after being shuffled back from post one. Gerry Brooks wins 25% first start after being beaten as the favorite.
3rd: (1) IMMORTALLOVE – has more than enough gate speed to keep up from post one for the Spieths.
Race Four:
1st: (7) THANK YOU AMY – went gate to wire two starts back in her career debut, then came back at Woodbine and led to the deep stretch before tiring. The daughter of Street Boss has enough speed to handle the wide draw.
2nd: (5) STRIKE D’ORO – broke her maiden in her well-bet career debut in fast time, going five furlongs, and now takes on winners. Juan Arriagada wins 29% with his synthetic-track starters and is 3 for 6 with Morales.
3rd: (2) SMOOCH UP – romped by six lengths in her well-bet career debut, then tired in a stakes race on the dirt at Colonial.

Race Five:
1st: (5) STRIDER’S SLIDER – speedball hasn’t been able to hang on in 363 days but drops way down in class. He has enough back class and improved in his two starts this year for Brandon Kulp – 28% third start off the layoff.
2nd: (2) THE SINNER IS YOU – just missed here two starts back going this distance against cheaper then came back and his rally got up in time. Gelded son of Into Mischief has won 14 times here.
3rd: (1) CALYPSO CHARLIE – won his PID debut three starts back, then ran well against this claiming level.
Race Six:
1st: (5) PEMAQUID PETE – horse for the course has won 14 times here but not this year. He drops down in class looking for a winning spot off three starts, where he showed terrific gate speed.
2nd: (6) CASHIER CHECK – held on for second two starts back here as the lukewarm favorite, then just missed against this level last out. Scooter Davis wins 29% going long and 40% with Rosario Montanez.
3rd: (4) Q F SEVENTY FIVE – rallied from off the pace to get up in time two starts back and should get a fast pace.
Race Seven:
1st: (9) CERTAIN – hard-knocking sprinter stretches out to two turns. He won here two starts back, then was second last out as the 7-5 favorite for Teresa Connelly, who wins 39% first start after being beaten as the favorite.
2nd: (7) HAPPYISASHAPPYDOES – horse for the course just missed two starts back in fast time, then went gate to wire when allowed to set a slow pace. Martina Rojas picks up the ride for Connelly.
3rd: (1) FORTUNE SELLER – one-dimensional closer rallied for second two starts back, then ran one-paced.
Race Eight:
1st: (9) STEELER MISCHIEF – has run well against this conditioned claiming level the past three starts. He was a good second two starts back, then lost all chance last out when he broke poorly.
2nd: (3) PALACE REVOLT – broke his maiden by a head as the odds-on favorite last out for Tim Hamm, who wins 16% first start after a maiden win and 21% with his claimers. Joe Stokes picks up the mount.
3rd: (10) BIGONZETTI – showed high speed for a half-mile in a turf sprint at Colonial Downs against better.
