Round 4 of the 2016 Southland Festival Of Stakes runs Saturday with 9 stakes races both on the afternoon and evening cards and continues on Sunday with 8 more Round 4 stakes races. The Championship finals & Consolation finals will be held on October 1. This year's Festival Of Stakes racing has seen the favorites do well up to this point with an occasional upset winner thrown in and I think we are going to see some of the best greyhound racing in the country over the remainder of this stakes competition as these incredibly talented racers get closer to determining the division champions..  This is always one of the most anticipated stakes contest in the country and this year has shown to be giving the greyhound world some exceptional racing. I have listed below the dates and the 9 different divisions that comprise the 2016 Festival Of Stakes and I will have updates before each round and recaps as well as the competition moves along. I will also give you my selections for champions of each division. The Championship and Consolation Finals will be run on October 1 so that gives us greyhound fans across the nation 3 weeks of very competitive and challenging racing so be sure to check in on a regular basis.
