The highlight of the evening are the four races that will feature this stakes racing and I've listed those races below along with my picks for those greyhounds who I believe will advance to the quarterfinals which will be held on Wednesday, March 18. The black bolded names listed below were the top 16 seeded greyhounds who advanced from the first round. Those other greyhounds in red type are the upsets I pick for this round. Of the 16 top seeds before the stakes contest started, there were 13 of those greyhounds that advanced to Round 2 including 3 of the top seeds so the pre rankings appear to have been very much on target at this point. It will be interesting to see how many of the top seeds can get by in the second round as the matchups get more competitive.
