Southland - Monday, April 11

April 10th, 2016

Over the years I have had quite a few people ask me about the different handicapping services when it comes to picking greyhounds and I've always tried to be as diplomatic as possible with my answers. From people standing on the side of the road or in small shacks waving different colored sheets with their picks near the entrance to the tracks or vendors at the track as you enter the buildings or to the online handicapping sites of today's internet world, there has been no shortage of people, or computers as the years have gone by who were more then willing to give out their own personal handicapping selections,(for a small fee of course), all trying to put you on a winner. Just recently I was in a discussion among several long time gamblers about handicapping and somebody brought up the morning line selections and it got me thinking that it might be interesting to do a weeklong, unscientific study to see how the morning line picks would do at Southland.

I will start this on Wednesday and go thru Sunday, this will include both Friday and Saturday's matinee and evening programs for a total of 7 performances.  As many of you know, MoneyMaker Mike likes to go outside the box from time to time with studies and blogs that might be of interest to the greyhound fan and I think this short study may turn out to be both entertaining and informative at the same time. I will keep track of both the picks and the results and give a recap when the results are in. The morning line selections I will use will be the 4 picks at the bottom of the page of each race on each of this coming week's programs. Always remember that BetAmerica is just a click away for your wagering opportunities or for any questions or comments you may have. Thanks for reading and good luck.
