The results are in after Round 2 of the 2016 Southland Spring Futurity Stakes was run on Friday evening and what an exciting stakes competition we've seen so far. The field has now been reduced to 32 hard running greyhounds with Round 3 scheduled for Wednesday, April 27. That program will be highlighted by the running of the 6th, 8th, 11th and 13th races which are the stakes contest. So far it's been a very competitive two rounds between talented greyhounds going paw to paw for the title. Listed below are the dates for the remaining rounds as well as the results of how my 8 selections to make the finals have done. Of my picks to make the finals, I have 5 that are still in the running as well as my pick to win it all, Theeree. The other 3 choices I had to make the finals were eliminated after Round 2.
