SOUTHLAND Preview - December's 5 Up & Coming Young Greyhounds to Watch

December 1st, 2016

Welcome to another Southland monthly preview of the Five Up & Coming Young Greyhounds To Watch. December's selections consist of several greyhound youngsters that have starte their careers with some impressive wins and a couple that have just now hit the track. There were quite a few greyhounds that had credentials to make this list and the choices were certainly tough to make but I believe the selections below all have the
Southlandpotential to be Southland stars.  As many of our regular readers probably know, the only requirement that I use in selecting the 5 up and coming young greyhounds to watch each month is that they have had no more then 10 official starts prior to being selected. I try to give updates on the progress of these selections every few months and just updated the past four months selections on here last week. Thanks for reading and good luck with your wagering opportunities. Please remember that BetAmerica is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about wagering online.

MYTIMETOFLY - 5 starts - 3-1-0-1 - running in Grade B. Just 5 starts but she's gotten 3 wins and is 5 out of 5 in top four finishes. An inside runner, she's won going to the front early and won coming from behind with a strong late kick. These two traits bode well for her as she gains experience with each and every race. Next race - December 2nd, Friday afternoon - 9th race (box 4)

OSHKOSH GOLIATH - 4 starts - 1-2-1-0 - running in Grade D - He gave 3 nice schooling efforts then followed that up with a solid win in his first official start. With his rail running style and good early burst of speed, look for him to be near the front more often then not. Next race - December 2nd - Friday afternoon - 5th race (7 box)

PJ GOTTA LOTTA - 8 starts - 3-1-2-0 - running in Grade B - After a few bumps and stumbles in his first couple of races, he's rattled off 6 straight top 3 finishes while picking up 3 wins and moving rapidly up in grade. Has shown some early speed to go along with a late kick and bears watching over the next few months.

PJ MONIX - 2 starts - 1-1-0-0 - running in Grade D - In two schooling contests, ran 1st and 2nd, in two official starts, more of the same, ran 1st and 2nd. Likes the rail and shows a big rush to the turn, well worth keeping an eye on this one as he's already run a solid class time of 32.16. Next race - December 1st, Thursday twilight - 8th race (box 5)

PJ PUREHARDROCK - 2 starts - 1-1-0-0 - running in Grade D - Won both schooling races, one by 10 lengths, follows that up with a second place finish in his first official start despite having trouble and then comes right back with a 4 length win in his second start. Inside running style with good overall speed both early and late. Next race - December 2nd, Friday evening, 7th race (box 1)
