SOUTHLAND Preview - Friday evening, December 23
Friday's evening performance will be the last one before Christmas at Southland so let's end it on a high note. This past week or so I've been following races at Southland where greyhounds have consistently been on winning streaks. This card has several of these races and I've listed them below for you to check out. Race 5 - 703 yards - Grade AA - KL'S FARLEY (3 box) - This very impressive young greyhound is going for his 7th win in his last 8 races and has an outstanding record of 12 top four finishes in just 14 contests including 8 wins already in his short career. He is definitely the real deal and has an extremely bright future ahead.
Race 10 - 583 yards - Grade AA - FLYING BIG WOLF (8 box) - He's going for his 5th win in his last 7 starts and despite facing a formidable field here is more then capable of getting it done.
Race 15 - 583 yards - Grade B - THRAWDULL (2 box) - Another strong running young pup who is trying to make it 4 straight wins. He doesn't show much early speed out of the box but once he kicks into high gear with that huge late closing ability, he's definitely a threat to catch the leaders down the stretch.
Race 10 - 583 yards - Grade AA - FLYING BIG WOLF (8 box) - He's going for his 5th win in his last 7 starts and despite facing a formidable field here is more then capable of getting it done.
Race 15 - 583 yards - Grade B - THRAWDULL (2 box) - Another strong running young pup who is trying to make it 4 straight wins. He doesn't show much early speed out of the box but once he kicks into high gear with that huge late closing ability, he's definitely a threat to catch the leaders down the stretch.
