SOUTHLAND Preview - November's Five Up & Coming Young Greyhounds to Watch

Welcome to another Southland monthly preview of the Five Up & Coming Young Greyhounds To Watch. The selections for November consist of some greyhound youngsters that have started their careers with some impressive wins and a couple that have just now hit the track. There were quite a few greyhounds that had credentials to make this list and the choices were certainly tough to make but I believe the selections below all have the

potential to be Southland stars.  As many of our regular readers probably know, the only requirement that I use in selecting the 5 up and coming young greyhounds to watch each month is that they have had no more then 10 official starts prior to being selected. I try to give updates on the progress of these selections every few months and just updated the past four months selections on here last week. Thanks for reading and good luck with your wagering opportunities. BEYONDTHESTARTS - 1 start - 1-0-0-0 - running in Grade D now - Coming off a very impressive 15 length schooling win, he comes right back with a 9 1/2 length maiden win in his first official start. Tons of early speed and able to kick it in gear down the stretch, he's an impressive greyhound pup will a very bright future. Next race - November 5th - race 7 - starts from the 6 box

BIODIESEL - 2 starts - 1-0-0-0 - running in Grade D now - Looked good in her 3 schooling efforts with a win and two second place efforts and followed that up with a win in her first official start. Last time out she was offstrided early and finished 6th. She's shown good early speed and a preference at this time to run inside and with good potential to be a solid class greyhound.

CACTUS JACK WILD - 7 starts - 3-1-1-0 - running in Grade B now - He's gotten off to a very good start with 3 solid wins. He has already shown that with his inside running style he can go both to the front and hold on as well as being able to come from far behind. Next race - November 9th - race 8 - starts from the 2 box

PJ COMEHOMETOME - 7 starts - 3-1-1-1 - running in Grade B now - Moving up in class quickly with 3 wins already and 6 top four finishes in 7 races, this mid to wide running female shows decent early speed and a strong rush to the turn. Certainly a greyhound to keep an eye on as her young racing career gains experience. Next race - November 5th - evening - 16th race - starts from the 2 box

SAWGUS - 5 starts - 3-0-2-0 - running in Grade B now - Here is a  young greyhound who will be trying to make it 4 straight wins in his next race and who is already 5 out of 5 in top 4 finishes in his very short racing career. Big rush to the turn and a late closing move as well, he's one to watch in the future at Southland.
