SOUTHLAND Preview - Round 2 Thursday

Welcome to another Thursday twilight card of exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 19 entertaining races on tap for our viewing and wagering pleasure.  The highlight of this card, and of several rounds to come, is the continuation of the 2nd round of the 2015 SOUTHLAND FESTIVAL OF  STAKES .  Of the 19 races on the card for Thursday, all of them are stakes races that will complete the 2nd round. This has the potential to be one of the most competitive stakes fields there has been in quite some time and as always, full of some big surprises as this 3 week stakes contest gets underway. MONEYMAKER MIKE's selections will be the 8 greyhounds in each division that I feel have a great shot at making the finals. There are a total of 304 greyhounds entered in the 8 divisions so get ready to watch some fabulous racing with incredibly talented greyhounds going paw to paw for the elusive championships. Yesterday's blog featured my picks to make the finals of the 4 divisions that ran Wednesday evening and listed below are my picks to make the finals in the 4 divisions running Thursday evening. I had originally posted that there were 6 divisions in this stakes contest but it turns out that there are 8 divisions so I apologize for any confusion.
