SOUTHLAND Preview - Saturday evening, December 19
Welcome to another Saturday evening card of entertaining and exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 18 races on tap for your viewing and wagering pleasure. For the next few days MoneyMaker Mike will be picking greyhounds who hopefully can add some holiday cash to our pockets. Saturday's evening selections feature some talented and hard running greyhounds who are in Grade AA and worth giving a shot. Good luck to all and thanks for reading.
Race 6 - 660 yards - Grade A - DUTCH BOGIE - 8 box - This talented young greyhound may come out of the box slow at times but with the strong late kick he has down the stretch you better not overlook him here. He's a mid to wide runner with a big closing run that has made him a big threat in all of his races so far. Worth a shot in this one having drawn the outside box.
Race13- 583 yards - Grade AA - FLYING FIRED UP - 3 box - He is one of the best greyhounds in the country at this time and is looking for his 4th straight win and 5th in his last 6 starts. With 45 top four finishes in 52 races which includes a very impressive 22 wins and 11 second place efforts this greyhound has proven he can win against the best of them. He is also the recent winner of the King vs Queen race just a month ago. He will be the favorite here but I will play him in quinielas and tri's with the 1/7/8.
Race17- 660 yards - Grade AA - FIESTA BRUNO - 3 box - He's on a hot streak having finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in his last four starts and his win came by 10 lengths, all of these races came in Grade AA so no reason to think he can't make it two straight against this field. I will key him, the 3, with the 2/7/8, again in quinielas and tri's.
