SOUTHLAND Preview - Saturday evening, February 28
Welcome to another fun filled and exciting Saturday evening of greyhound racing at Southland. On the card are 18 races and while going thru the program I noticed several contests that stood out to me as good wagering opportunities and I have listed those below. Good luck to all and thanks for reading.
Race 3 - Grade D - 583 yards - I'm going with the (5) KENRO BRATSK as the key here. She is a young greyhound with just eight official starts but who has 6 top four finishes to show for them. She has encountered trouble of late but with her early speed I look for her to break quickly and find running room in which to challenge for the win. I will play the (5) with the 1/2/6/8 in the quinielas and tri's.
Race 10 - Grade AA - 583 yards - I like the (8) IN MY MEMORY as the key in this one. He's been hot as a firecracker lately winning 3 of his last 4 races, all in this grade and with having drawn the 8 box, gives him a solid chance here to win again with his mid to wide running style. I will play the (8) with the 4/5/7 in the quinielas and the tri's and will also play the dime superfecta with the 8-all-1-all, 8-all-all-1, all-8-1-all & all-8-all-1.
Race 12 - Grade D - 583 yards - Here is the MoneyMaker pick of the evening and it's the (7) KL'S OLIVER. I believe he has a real shot here as he seems to have a wide running style and the seven box should give him a edge along with his good early speed to find a running lane quickly and challenge for the win. Play the (7) with the 1/3/6 in quinielas and I will play the (7) on top in the dime superfecta (7-all-all-all).
Race 14 - Grade C - 660 yards - I am going with the (1) REIGN SUPREME to make it two straight wins as he works his way back up in class. He likes the rail, has an inside running style and is coming off an impressive 6 length win last time out over this same course. I look for him to be in the hunt from the start to the finish here and will play the (1) with the 3/6/7 in quinielas.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for reading.
