SOUTHLAND Preview - Saturday evening, November 21

Welcome to another Saturday evening of entertaining and exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 18 races on tap for your viewing and wagering pleasure. As many of you know who follow MoneyMaker Mike's Southland previews, from time to time I like to go outside the box with picks and predictions and this week my selections have been greyhounds who are dropping in class. Lots of times these greyhounds get overlooked for one reason or another but there is still a ton of value to be had if you chose the right one. As always I will post the results of how my selections fared and hopefully we come away with some additional cash in the pocket. Good luck to all and thanks for reading.

Race 11 - 583 yards - Grade D - WW'S THRILL RIDE - 6 box - He's got a solid rush to the turn and with the drop in grade should find himself in good position around the turn to make a strong challenge for a money finish. He is well posted for his mid - track running style and worth a shot in this one.

Race 13 - 660 yards - Grade A - KEEPER POCKET - 5 box - A solid runner with good early speed, I look for him to be out fast and somewhere near the lead at the first turn. With his inside running style and quick start out of the box he should find room to run on the rail. He's a top grade greyhound and always capable of turning in a big effort and I think he does that here.

Race 14 - 583 yards - Grade B - FLY M SUPERBLAZE - 4 box - This talented young greyhound already has 4 wins and 12 top four finishes in 16 races and moved up quickly from Grade M to Grade A before encountering trouble in his last few races. Quick out of the box and stamina to last, better not overlook him in this one, his racing future looks bright indeed.
