SOUTHLAND Preview - Saturday, November 26

Saturday evening's program at Southland has a solid lineup of  races and I've listed several below that caught my attention. The greyhounds in these races stand out to me for different reasons and while there is sure to be other highlights on this card, these three races are the ones I'll be watching closely. There is plenty of exciting greyhound racing on tap with this top notch card of 18 races and as always it's sure to be quite entertaining. Race 2 - 660 yards - Grade C - FLYING SECRETARY (8 box) - Here is a double drop who went off as a heavy favorite last time out in Grade B encountered trouble and finished last. She now draws the 8 box which is perfectly suited for her wide running style and it will be interesting to see how she responds.

Race 5 - 583 yards - Grade B - SAWGUS (2 box) - She's an impressive young greyhound who has moved up quickly in class and shows 7 top four finishes in 8 official starts which includes 3 wins. Likes the inside and has two solid runs in this grade in her last two starts. Also to watch in this race is MYTIMETOFLY (7 box) who is going for her 4th straight win.

Race 7 - 583 yards - Grade AA - FIESTA PARAGUAS (6 box) - He is also on a nice winning streak and is looking to make it 5 wins in a row. A mid-track running with tons of speed, very hard to run down once he gets the lead.
