SOUTHLAND Preview - Sunday, December 18

For the past week or so I've been following races at Southland where greyhounds have consistently been on winning streaks. Sunday's card has quite a few of these races along with a couple of others that drew my interest. Check out these races below and thanks for reading. Good luck with your wagering opportunities.

Race 2 - 703 yards - Grade TA - KL'S DENZEL (3 box) - Going after his 4th win in 5 races but the competition will be the toughest he has faced as it's his first time in Grade A.

Race 4 - 660 yards - Grade A - DUTCH BOGIE (2 box) - He's on a 2nd place streak having finished second 5 times in a row. He's due to win one and it won't surprise me to see him get it here.

Race 7 - 583 yards - Grade AA - The best race of the program as 3 talented greyhounds are showing solid winning efforts as of late. NASHAPELLI (3 box) tries to make it 3 wins out of 4, SABER YALE (6 box) won her last 3 races at Wheeling before coming to Southland and will try to make it 4 straight wins in her first official start here and VJ ON THE RIVER (8 box) looks to make it 4 wins out of his last 5 starts.

Race 10 - 660 yards - Grade AA - Here we have FIESTA BRUNO (2 box) going for his 3rd straight win and SABER WOLF (7 box) trying to make it a 4th win in his last 5 efforts. This will be a tough race for either to win as you also have the extremely talented OSHKOSH KID (8 box) in this field.

Race 13 has HS FLEET who is on a 4 race streak of 2nd place finishes.

Race 16 has PAY TREE IT who won his first official start after winning both schooling contests.

Race 17 has BEAST MODE going after 3 straight wins.

Race 18 has VJ SMARTY MARTY also trying to make it 3 straight wins.
