Southland - Thursday, March 3
Welcome to another Thursday twilight program of highly entertaining and exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 18 races on tap on the card for your viewing and wagering pleasure. This week MoneyMaker Mike will be selecting several races where a greyhound has at least a two race winning streak going. We did this last season and the results were interesting as only a few greyhounds were able to win 3 or more during the study. I've listed these races below for greyhound fans and racing fans in general to check out and I will continue this thru Sunday and then give a recap on how the greyhounds fared in their quest to keep their winning streaks going. Always remember that BETAMERICA is just a click away for your wagering opportunities or for any questions or comments you may have. Thanks for reading and good luck with your wgers.
Race 4 - 660 yards - Grade B - BOC'S LEFT WING - 3 box - She's taken to the 660 yard course like a champion winning impressively in her last two starts as she won a Grade D race by 8 lengths and followed that up with a 9 length win in Grade C. Her first start over this distance was three races ago and she came away with a nice 3rd place effort in that one. Going for 3 in a row against a very tough field while moving up in class sure won't be easy but as hard as she's running now I wouldn't count her out.
Race 7 - 583 yards - Grade B - LET'S GET IT - 1 box - Talk about an impressive young greyhound, this rail runner has shown tremendous early speed in each of her first four official starts and after a close second place finish in her very first race, she's won 3 straight contests and is looking to continue her winning streak against the best field she has faced yet.
Race 10 - 583 yards - Grade AA - KIOWA DANDELIONS - 3 box - Looks like he is back in form now after two straight wins since coming back a few weeks ago from a six month long absence from the track. Early speed and a good rush to go along with his rail running style gives him a solid shot at making it three straight wins in this contest.
Race 11 - 660 yards - Grade A - BBB STICKS - He's already won three times this season in nine races and it's only a matter of time before he betters last season's four win total. A tough and competitive field will make it tough to for him to get his 3rd win in a row but don't overlook him for the trifecta and superfecta plays.
Race 17 - 660 yards - Grade AA - EVOLVINGSITUAJHN - Talk about being consistent, this hard running greyhound has 7 quiniela finishes in 10 starts this season and that total includes 5 wins already. He's a mid to wide runner and certainly capable of keeping his winning streak going.
