SOUTHLAND Preview - Wednesday, November 9

Wednesday's twilight program at Southland has several interesting races that I will be watching as there are some talented greyhounds running that I've been keeping an eye on lately. The card looks good overall but these four races listed below will feature the greyhounds that I've been following so enjoy the show and best of luck with your wagering opportunities. Race 4 - 583 yards - Grade B - SAWGUS (box 2) - This impressive young pup is going for 4 wins in a row and while he's only had 5 official races in his career so far, he's definitely caught the attention of many a Southland fan.

Race 8 - 583 yards - Grade B - VOLANDO TEMARA (box 5) - She's a recent transfer from the Caliente track where she ran Grade A. Since arriving in West Memphis, she won her only schooling race and then ran a solid second in her first official start at Southland. I will be watching to see how competitive she will be at this track but so far, she's looking good.

Race 10 - 583 yards - Grade AA - LAGRO E Z BIGMAN (box 4) - I will be watching this one closely to see if he can rebound from an 8th place effort last time out as before that he had a 4 race winning streak going until a 3rd place finish two races ago.

Race 17 - 660 yards - Grade AA - BARTS POCKETACES (box 5) - He's been on fire lately as he is presently on a 7 race streak having finished in the top 3 in each of those including 4 wins. Talk about being consistent, all of these finishes were in top class Grade AA contests.
