SOUTHLAND Preview - Wednesday, September 7

MoneyMaker Mike's short kennel study that I've been during the month of August has come to an end and I've given the results of the 4 kennels that were followed during this last week of the month. This was an abbreviated 2 day study instead of the previous weeks this past month when I used three days to get results..  As I said at the start of August, I

was going to be keeping up with 3 or 4 different Southland kennels each week and checking results from several days each week. I have always felt that keeping up with a kennel chart is a valuable and solid option to have at your disposal as you handicap the races. It can be very helpful in your decision making when you can tell which kennel is running good and also when a kennel is not. Kennels I am following this week - GLORIA DORSEY Kennel, MIKE HARRIS Kennel, LESTER RAINES Kennel AR L & the RYAN FARMS Kennel. The results are from Wednesday and Thursday of this past week.

Gloria Dorsey Kennel had 13 entries on Wednesday and 10 entries on Thursday for a total of 23 for those two days. Of the 23 entries the kennel had on those two days, they had a total of 2 wins, 1 place finish, 3 third place finishes and 4 fourth place efforts.

Mike Harris Kennel had 9 entries on Wednesday and 8 entries on Thursday for a total of 17 for those two days. Of the 17 entries the kennel had on those two days, they had 2 wins, 2 place finishes, 3 third place finishes and 1 fourth place effort.

Lester Raines Kennel AR L had 8 entries on Wednesday and 8 entries on Thursday for a total of 16 for those two days. Of the 16 entries the kennel had on those two days, they had 1 win, 4 place finishes, 2 third place finishes and 3 fourth place efforts.

Ryan Farms Kennel had 7 entries on Wednesday and 9 entries on Thursday for a total of 16 for those two days. Of the 16 entries the kennel had on those two days, they had 4 wins, 1 place finish, 3 third place finishes and 2 fourth place efforts.

Just like last week, these 4 kennels were all closely competitive in the study and though it was a tough decision, the RYAN FARMS Kennel 4 wins gives it the edge for the past week's study.
