Southland - Saturday, March 5

March 4th, 2016

Welcome to another Saturday doubleheader of highly entertaining and exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 18 races on the program for both the matinee and evening cards for your viewing and wagering pleasure. This week MoneyMaker Mike has been selecting several races where a greyhound has at least a two race winning streak going. We did this last season and the results were interesting as only a few greyhounds were able to continue their winning streaks during the study. I've listed these races below for greyhound fans and racing fans in general to check out and I will continue this thru Sunday and then give a recap on how the greyhounds fared in their quest to keep their winning streaks going. Always remember that BETAMERICA is just a click away for your wagering opportunities or for any questions or comments you may have. Thanks for reading and good luck.

Saturday matinee

Race 1 - 334 yards - Grade TB - CLICKAH - 2 box - She's an inside runner so this post position will help in her quest to make it 3 wins in a row but she'll find the competition a lot tougher here. While her early speed may have her among the frontrunners right out of the box, the question will be can she maintain the pace going up against solid class runners.

Race 3 - 583 yards - Grade D - XKT RICK NESS - 7 box - Even though he's only got one official win I will include him here as he did have two schooling wins prior to winning his first and only official start last time out. With a big rush to the turn and a mid-track running style, I look for him to give a solid effort from this outside starting position.

Saturday evening

There are no greyhounds entered that have a current two race winning streak going.

Thursday evening results of those greyhounds who had at least a two race winning streak going.

Race 4 - Boc's Left Wing - ran 5th

Race 7 - Let's Get It - ran 6th

Race 10 - Kiowa Dandelions - ran 6th

Race 11 - Bbb Sticks - ran 5th

Race 17 - Evolvingsituajhn - WON - winning streak at 3
