The TwinSpires Jury of Ashley Anderson, James Scully, and Darin Zoccali argue their best bets at Kentucky Downs and Colonial.
The seven-day Kentucky Downs meet will come to a close on Wednesday, and Saturday's card will bring the biggest punch, with more than $13 million in prize money across six stakes. The 1 5/16-mile Ladies Marathon (G3) will kick off the stakes lineup, followed by the one-mile Mint Millions (G3), one mile Gun Runner S., 6 1/2-furlong Music City (G2), 6 1/2-furlong Franklin-Simpson (G1), and finally the 1 1/2-mile Turf Cup (G2), a Breeder's Cup Win and You're In challenge series event for the Breeders' Cup Turf (G1).
In total, Saturday's card will feature 12 races. Sunday's 11-race program will include a pair of stakes for two-year-olds: the Juvenile Mile and the Untapable.
Colonial Downs will also host Old Dominion Derby Day on Saturday. The 10-race card will offer a 50-cent all-stakes Old Dominion Pick-6 beginning in Race 5 with the Kitten's Joy S. The Colonial Cup, Exacta Systems Rosie's S., Da Hoss S., Old Dominion Oaks, and Old Dominion Derby (G3) round out the card.

The featured event will be headlined by World Beater, recent winner of the Saratoga Derby (G1), for trainer Riley Mott. The Oscar Performance three-year-old is the 9-5 morning-line favorite in the nine-horse Old Dominion Derby field.
World record-holder Doncho is one of the bigger names in the Da Hoss. Coming off a 59.75-second win in a 5 1/2-furlong allowance optional claimer at Ellis on Aug. 8, the four-year-old gelding will look to score his second stakes win and faces recent Van Clief S. victor Witty, plus multiple graded stakes-placed Alogon.
