Three Stakes Sunday at Hialeah Park

Trainer Judd Kearl saddles two stakes runners Sunday at Hialeah Park
The 2016 Quarter Horse meet at Hialeah Park continues to attract great fields and great betting value. On Sunday, January 31, the South Florida racetrack will present three stakes on its nine-race card, which begins at 12:35 (ET).
Leading trainer Judd Kearl will saddle the favorite, Eyesa Shoofly Dandy in 660-yard, $25,000 Moonstone Stakes. The Oklahoma-bred will break from post position four under Kearl's first call rider, Rodrigo Vallejo, who is having a very good meet. His toughest competition will likely come from JMF Shazoomer, the winner of the 550-yard Orange Blossom Stakes last month. Francisco Ramirez, Jr. will ride the 4-year-old son of Shazoom. AQHA Champion jockey, Ricky Ramirez will be in Florida this weekend and rides Jess Twice Cash, who is 4-1 on the morning line.
El Macho Prieto Boy, winner of the 110-yard, $20,000 Speedball Stakes on December 28, returns to action in the 220-yard, $20,000 Tallahassee Stakes. The field of 10 "super sprinters" includes Llano Cartel, the highest earner in the stakes with $394,191 from 42 lifetime starts and Carters Money, an Oklahoma-bred from the Judd Kearl barn.
Stakes winner She Looks Racy headlines the field in the $25,000 Biscayne Stakes, to be run at the distance of 250 yards. The daughter of all-time leading sire First Down Dash, prevailed in the $20,000 Mockingbird Stakes on January 3. Other fillies of note include Shez A Hot Valentine and Louisiana-bred Coming and Going.
