2nd: (3) TRIPLE START – beat better here last year going this distance. Son of American Pharoah was a good second here in a really slow paced race and meets the same group for John Fennessy who wins 12% with his route starters.

3rd: (4) SILVER STYLE – showed good speed on the dirt going two turns at Tampa Bay then raced evenly going seven furlongs.

Race 2

1st: (5) I'M HEADING EAST – was claimed at the bottom at Penn National then shipped here and beat state-bred allowance foes. She made up an amazing 12 lengths in the stretch here to win going away against similar company as the odds-on favorite.

2nd: (2) SHORTY MAC – showed good speed here two starts back against better when making her seasonal debut. Claimed that day, she flashed speed for a half-mile when moved up in class last out and drops back down to a more realistic class level.

3rd: (1) VALIANT VICTORIA – returns to the races off a 258-day layoff for Aldana Spieth who wins 15% with this move.

Race 3

1st: (6) CATCH ON EMOTIONAL – won here two starts back two years ago against much better company. He returned here last out and led to the deep stretch before tiring when dropped down to this class level by Carol Skawiski.

2nd: (1) WHERE YOU WAS – just missed in his first start of the year then came right back to win gate to wire. He was an even third when moved up in class last out and drops down for Randy Russell.

3rd: (2) SPAN OF CONTROL – gelded son of Into Mischief loves it here and makes his second start off the claim.

Race 4

1st: (5) KITTEN'S WAR – woke up two starts back when dropped down in class and she won by five lengths. She showed speed last out and now returns off the long layoff without being exposed to the claim. Kevin Rice wins 19% with his overall claimers.

2nd: (2) SIP'N' SPEED – did nothing over the winter at Tampa Bay but woke up here in her PID debut and broke her maiden going this distance in decent time. Daughter of Omaha Beach draws well and gets Pablo Morales back.

3rd: (1) CRYSTAL WATER – broke her maiden here two starts back in her PID debut then ran evenly against these.

Race 5

1st: (6) HAPPY HENNEY – raced evenly here in his well-bet career debut going shorter. Tim Hamm wins 17% with his second-time starters and 21% against this maiden level. Son of Runhappy draws well for a stalking trip.

2nd: (7) TEAR JERKER – was a good second last out when he beat the top choice but he had the advantage of having a prior start. Ron Potts wins 21% with his juvenile starters and gets Scott Spieth back – 12 for 35 at the meet so far.

3rd: (5) LIVE STREAM – was an even fourth against these and adds blinkers. Dam has produced 5 winners from 6 foals to race.

Race 6

1st: (6) SNOWNAME – won his PID debut here three starts back against much cheaper then was second when moved up in class. He moved up to first-level allowance foes and went gate to wire and keeps ascending for Kevin Rice.

2nd: (1) DIAMOND DUST – horse for the course has won nine times here in 20 starts. He just missed to begin this season against this class level then He beat them last out in fast time and should be tough again from the rail with Rosario Montanez.

3rd: (2) TODDCHERO – doesn't win enough to place him any higher but he has plenty of back class.

Race 7

1st: (4) OUR LADY – broke her maiden first time out on the Tapeta at Woodbine then she came back there and won easily. Daughter of Bolt d;Oro takes on state-bred stakes foes for Steve Chircop who wins 17% first start after a win.

2nd: (1) ICONA MAMA – she won a similar stakes race by a wide margin on the dirt last year at Penn National. She's been shipped all over the country and has a dangerous late kick. Daughter of Maximus Mischief has two preps for this on sloppy tracks.

3rd: (5) HONORABLE WIN – just missed here last year against state-bred stakes foes and gets Gallardo.

Race 8

1st: (5) UNBRIDLED PEACE – missed by a neck in her PID debut adding blinkers for the first time. She came back and finished first against this allowance level but was taken down. So, she gets to meet the same group she just beat and removes blinkers.

2nd: (2) LADY KATHRYN – dirt sprinter tries Tapeta for the first time. She ran well in her first three career starts last year but has done little since. Riley Mott wins 12% third start off the layoff and 14% going from dirt to synthetic.
