Southland Razorback Classic Round 3 Monday May 13th

If you saw Smokey Joe's last race, you'll want to see him in the 5th race at Southland tonight. Although he's won his last 3 races in this series, Joe has competition tonight.

The 1-Bella Everest loves the rail and has it. The 3-AMF Set Aside managed to overcome trouble in her last race and prevailed to win by 3 lengths on the inside.

The 8-Judgment Maker closed on the rail to win by 3 lengths also. This is a race not to be missed! And there are six more races on the program in Round 3 of the Classic.

Race 6 has a LOT of early speed for a route race and a couple of sneaky closers like the 6-Cry Calaveras and the 8- Frank Gallagher.

Race 13 has 1-Kiowa Andy Puddy who won by 10 lengths from the rail last time out and 6-Flying Marvelous who missed by a neck with a 36.74 in her last race.

8-Cicero Drive, in Race 15, will have some stiff competition from 1-Energy Drink, a last out winner and 3-Tiger Boy, who has to be considered for exotics with his exacta and in the money record.

In Race 17, 3-SE's Home Owner and 8-AMF Bad Bounce will most likely be going head to head at the wire. Both of them has early speed and closing ability and neither is a quitter.

There are also two standouts in Race 18, 3-Constant Dream and 8-KL's Lucas. I'm not overlooking 1-AMF Reset though, now that she finally is on the inside where she wants to be.

The Razorback Classic continues on Saturday, May 18th with the semi-finals and concludes with the final on May 24th.
