Legatissimo looms as a formidable presence over the 2015 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1), as her highlight reel reveals.

After a fourth on unsuitably soft ground in her reappearance in the Leopardstown One Thousand Guineas Trial (G3), the David Wachman sophomore ran out a commanding winner of the Victor McCalmont Memorial at Gowran, over this 1 3/16-mile distance (click link for replay).

Legatissimo dropped back to a mile just a week later for the 1000 Guineas (G1) at Newmarket and finished powerfully to prevail. Attempting to complete a classic double in the Oaks (G1) at Epsom, she was surprised at the wire by the 50-1 Qualify.

A return to 1 1/4 miles for the Pretty Polly (G1) at the Curragh promised to get her back on the winning track, only she had a checkered passage and came up a head short. Filly & Mare Turf rival Secret Gesture is fourth:

Legatissimo roared back next time in the Nassau (G1) at Glorious Goodwood, and was similarly comprehensive back at a mile in the Matron (G1) at Leopardstown:
