BC Internationals: Juvenile Turf contender Cymric

Cymric, along with Birchwood, gives Godolphin two chances in the 2015 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1).

Trained by John Gosden, the Kentucky-bred son of Kitten's Joy found the Chesham at Royal Ascot too tough on debut (click links for replay), but broke his maiden next time out at Sandown. Cymric was subsequently fourth in the Acomb (G3) at York, and returned to Sandown to take a conditions race.

Stepping up in class for the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere (G1) on Arc Day, the bay rallied strongly late and came up barely a neck shy of Ultra:
