Winter Memories S. Analysis
#5 Duopoly is the top pick to take this field all the way on the front end. A facile maiden winner at Monmouth in July, the Animal Kingdom filly went wire-to-wire in a subsequent allowance tilt at Saratoga, prior to registering a fifth-place result in the Valley View (G3) at Keeneland in her stakes bow. The chestnut gets a better pace scenario with which to work with on Sunday, and the Kentucky-bred will be reunited with Irad in the saddle, as well.
2019 Miss Grillo (G2) queen #2 Selflessly was an even fifth in the Sands Point (G2) in her latest endeavor, which followed a game victory in the Lake George (G3) two back. Talented daughter of More Than Ready has not been ultra-consistent to this stage of her development, but she may be able to get first run on the deep closers with her tactical speed. Castellano will be up.
Clement has a fine duo, as well, led by Lake Placid (G2) starlet #1 Speaktomeofsummer. Summer Front miss was a winner in her lone prior outing on the surface, and she rallied well from off the pace to finish second-best in the Sands Point (G2) last time out. Dark bay will save ground throughout with Rosario in the controls.
#4 Faccio Io makes her stateside debut for Clement and could be any kind. Bated Breath chestnut is 3-for-5 lifetime, and the Italian import gets Lasix after a long string of morning drills in preparation of her U. S. bow.
