Fierceness installed at 7-2 for final 2024 Kentucky Derby Future Wager

The final pool of the 2024 Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW) will be held this week beginning Thursday. The pool will close Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, before the Wood Memorial (G2), Blue Grass (G1), and Santa Anita Derby (G1) are run.
Juvenile champion #13 Fierceness, a romping winner of last weekend's Florida Derby (G1) has been installed the 7-2 morning line choice for this week's Pool 6.

The Blue Grass field was drawn on Tuesday and all entrants, save Mugatu, are available as individual wagering interests in Pool 6. The fields for the Wood Memorial and Santa Anita Derby were scheduled to draw on Wednesday.
Expected runners for the Wood Memorial include #5 Deterministic, #8 El Grande O, #12 Evening News, #23 Merit, #26 Resilience, #29 Society Man, #37 Tuscan Sky, and #38 Uncle Heavy.
Possible Santa Anita Derby contenders include #30 Stronghold, #32 Tapalo, and #33 Tessuto.
Pool 6 will feature $2 Win and Exacta wagering. Fans can wager at TwinSpires.com.
There are no refunds in the Kentucky Derby Future Wager. Should Churchill Downs officials determine during the duration of this week's three-day pool that one of the wagering interests has experienced an injury, illness or other circumstance that would prevent the horse from participating in the Kentucky Derby, betting on the individual horse will be suspended immediately. Pool 6 will be final pari-mutuel opportunity to wager on the Kentucky Derby prior to the race.
