Greyhound Preview: Palm Beach for 4/3/13

15 more big races on tap for the Thursday Matinee at “The Beach.” Some of the best greyhounds in the country will be on display during this card.
Race 2 Grade C 545 Yards
#6 Tebucky Jones will be the heavy favorite in this one and should be. 3 wins in his first 5 races and is gaining even more attention each win he racks up. Has a couple of grade droppers that should challenge in #8 Atascocita Fab and #5 Budz Pyromaniac. I’m still backing Rader Racing’s new rookie sensation.

Race 4 Grade TA 301 Yards
One of the best Super Sprinters in the world #7 Bae Sang gets the call in this one. Is currently ranked #3 on my Palm Beach Rankings. Has won 75% of the time this season and is sitting in a perfect spot between two dogs on the outside that can’t keep up. #1 Liberty Trail is a former rival from last summer that has the best box. #4 Boc’s Cayenne has stumbled the last two races but beat Bae Sang in 2 straight a few weeks back. Win or place for Bae Sang is my top play for today.

Love when the quality “A” hounds drop down to “B” in a race that is very winnable. #4 JS Honey Boo from the Koppe, Stats and Collins Team is doing just that in this one. Hasn’t been in this class in over two months and was running toe to toe with some of the track’s best. Should roll here.

Race 14 Grade A
Very competitive top class race here. I’m interested in this one to watch the Puppy Stakes prospect #2 CRT Leyla. Has won 3 of 4 and just blazed a 29.37 sec country mile win last time out. Seems to be getting stronger each and every time she races. Like the youngster to get it done here. #7 Google Search should hit the ticket as well.
