Haveyougoneaway reels in Paulassilverlining for Honorable Miss win

With Kendrick Carmouche aboard, Haveyougoneaway took up a stalking spot about two wide while Diva Express, Disco Chick, Sarah Sis and Bar of Gold all battled it out on the front end. Diva Express got the opening quarter in a swift :22.01 and Disco Chick posted a time of :45.04, but neither of those two could withstand Paulassilverlining when she unleashed her run rounding the turn.
Not far back was Haveyougoneaway, and the Congrats mare kept inching forward as Paulassilverlining led the way in the lane. Haveyougoneaway collared her rival in the shadow of the wire and surged to stick her neck in front on the line, finishing six furlongs over the fast main track in 1:09.94.
Trained by Tom Morley, Haveyougoneaway paid $9.40 as the 7-2 third choice in the seven-distaffer field. Paulassilverlining was easily best of the rest, as Disco Chick followed in third another 12 lengths back. La Madrina filled out the top four a further 2 1/2 lengths behind, while Sarah Sis, Diva Express and 2-1 second choice Bar of Gold completed the order of finish.
Haveyougoneaway earned her first graded score in just her second try in this spot, but is no stranger to the stakes winner’s circle. The five-year-old chestnut took the Flashy Lady Stakes at Remington Park to open her account last September, and this year added the American Beauty Stakes, Spring Fever Stakes and Dancin Renee Stakes to her resume.
Bred in New York by Andy and Susan Beadnell, Haveyougoneaway also boasts seven stakes placings and improved her record to read 25-10-4-6, $622,425.
The Honorable Miss winner is out of the unraced Wiseman’s Ferry mare One Wise Cowgirl. This is the same female family as multiple Grade 1-winning millionaire and track record-setter On the Line as well as champion First Flight.

HONORABLE MISS QUOTES
Kendrick Carmouche, jockey Haveyougoneaway, winner: "I broke good and I was sitting behind the top four and being patient. The favorite came inside of me. I let her take the spot I could have been in because I knew my filly would make up the ground. Right past the eighth-pole I grinded a little and she really came home. This horse never really exploded like she did. That's when I knew she would grind it out."
Tom Morley, trainer Haveyougoneaway, winner: "All meet, this track has been playing so far where you need to be in the middle of the track. The rail is not the place to be. (Kendrick) angled outside the seven (Bar of Gold) and took dead aim at Paulassilverlining. We just got there in time.
"It's very special to do it with a New York-bred. I'm a huge fan of the New York-bred program. The (August 27) Ballerina (Stakes [G1]) has to be a consideration…off the back of today's performance, you have to consider the Breeders' Cup."
