Holland's North American Free Racing Plays for Dec. 8

Parx Racing, Remington Park and Zia Park hold the trifecta of tracks that handicapper Tim Holland uses for Tuesday's plays.
Parx Racing
Race 9
#2 Ruby Bleu (12-1) faded to finish third after leading early over 1 1/16 miles in his latest here last month. Gelding has a fine record of 51-12-12-8 on this oval and trainer Taylor has won with 13% of his runners at this meet. Bay could be tough to catch here with Rodriguez retaining the mount.
Remington Park
Race 2
Karl Broberg wins with 24% of his runners that have not raced for 46-90 days and saddles #6 Lovethatcause (5-1), who closed to narrowly miss when second over the track and distance in his latest in October. Dark bay has a record of 7-1-3-2 at this trip and Broberg has won with 20% of his starters since the beginning of this year. Son of Creative Cause can be stalking what should be a solid pace under Cabrera, who has won with 22% of his rides for the barn in the past two months.
Race 4
Maidens going 6 furlongs include #2 Marvins Gold (4-1), a debuting son of Goldencents, whose offspring win 15% of their first outings. Gelding has been working well and trainer Gelner wins with 15% of his first-time starters and with 14% of his runners overall in maiden claiming events. Gray can win at first asking with Lara up.
Zia Park
Race 5
#4 Haven’s Joy (7-2) drops into a maiden claimer for the first time off a fifth-place finish over 6 furlongs here in early October in her third career outing. Trainer Woolley wins with 13% of his runners that have not raced for 46-90 days and daughter of New Year’s Day is a half-sister to three winners. Bay can be tough at this level under Gomez, who has won with 35% of his mounts for Woolley in the past 60 days.
