Palm Beach $50,000 He's My Man Tournament Preview
*Last Years Winner Storm Control*
It's time for one of the most prestigous Stakes tournaments in the country, the $50,000 He's My Man Sprint Classic! All of South FLA's top talent will go head to head to decide on the track who is the best sprinter of them all. Lots of possibilities for a champion this season. We'll take a look at the racers that you must pay attention to as the tournament gets rolling Wednesday afternoon:
Favorites

Barts Dublin ~ Douglas Kennel
The current season wins leader with 15 victories, the "Luck of the Irish" has been one of the more consistent racers all season long. Could catch fire in this Tourney and deliver a big score for his Team.
Pat C Short Cut ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins
The Daytona 550 representative for Palm Beach will hope to duplicate what Storm Control did last year...win this Tournament and attempt to bring home a National Championship. Has the fastest time of any greyhound here (29.12 secs) and the most lethal close.

Superior Tyson ~ B & B Racing
The hottest sprinter at the track without question. "Iron Mike" has ripped off 7 consecutive victories and looks to be the strongest contender coming in. Great combo rush and close. Will Tyson score a knockout for 50k?
Tom Seaver ~ Janie Carroll Kennel
The rookie sensation "Tom Terrific" burst on the scene the last two months winning his first 7 starts. One of the best young pups this track has ever seen gets the opportunity to prove himself against many of the top sprinters in the entire country.

Atascocita Unify ~ Suncoast Racing
The Futurity runner-up possesses possibly the strongest pop out of the box of any racer in this Tourney. As we have seen in previous Stakes Finals, sometimes that's all you need.
JS SpeedyPebbles ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins
"The Queen of Palm Beach" will try and make a record third Classic Final this year. Pebbles is well rested and with 58 career wins under her belt, she can send a worldwide fan base into euphoria with a win here.
Next Best

AMF Wild Burst ~ B & B Racing
11 time winner this season and has hit the ticket in a solid 81% of his races. Strong blaze to the turn.
JS ToHotToHandle ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins
The "Sizzle" was a Finalist in the Classic last year and has a tendency to heat up for weeks at a time. Would be a good time to do that starting this week.

Hustle It Up ~ Janie Carroll Kennel
Finalist in the Classic & St Patrick's Invites last season. 32 time winner could steal this Tourney with a good rail setup in the Final.
TC's Posey ~ Champions Racing Team
The surprise greyhound of December tore off 5 straight wins coming into this Tourney. Same situation as Tom Seaver, are these young pups ready for greatness just yet?
*Jackie O*
Other Contenders
~Cbj Jackie O
~Craigie Piney
~Amf Sweet Glide
~HotFoot Rihanna
~Superior Philly
~Amf Drumbeat
~London Jo

"Shorty"
Predictions
He's going to the National Championship for a reason. Pat C Short Cut is the most complete greyhound of this Field and will put his talent on display for the world to see in the Final. I wouldn't want to pick against him and have to hang out in Daytona all week on Shorty's bad side.
Here are predictions from people at the Palm Beach Kennel Club and others in the greyhound industry that cover "The Beach."
Mike Jameson- Palm Beach Track Announcer
"My choice is Amf Wild Burst. If this greyhound can stay out of early trouble, he can make a Wild Burst for first!"
Mike Balsamo- Host of The Backstretch Show on 95.9 The Palm
"Superior Tyson for me...about to show them what Iron Mike is all about!"
Randy Birch - International Host of BigJackpotBetting.com
"Superior Tyson will run your ear off! He's my Classic Champ."
Ramon Cadavieco- Track Announcer at Palm Beach & Flagler Race Tracks
"Tom Terrific for me." (Tom Seaver)
Jeff Prince- Palm Beach Handicapper and Former Track Announcer
"I'll go with Sg's Tom Seaver. He's learning the ropes faster than almost any pup I've seen and his confidence level is rising."
George Quinn- GreyhoundNews.co
Pat C Short Cut - The PB Daytona 550 representative needs to prove his doubters wrong with great momentum heading into the National Championship."
