Palm Beach Friday Matinee Preview 3/27/2015
*Storm Control*
As always, Palm Beach is starting off our racing weekend with some of their biggest superstars running this afternoon. Storm Control from B & B Racing headlines the Card, along with the top Marathon racers at the track going for glory in the finale. Should be a great day of greyhound racing to watch and play all afternoon long. Here are the top races I will be following for the Friday Matinee at “The Beach.”

*JS ToHotToHandle*
Race 6 Grade A 545 Yards
The hottest rookie at Palm Beach is without a doubt #7 Bally’s Arthur from B & B Racing. Undefeated in March and looking for 5 straight this afternoon. Ran a 29.31 secs zinger a few starts back, which is the 6th fastest time of any greyhound here this season.
Possible Puppy Stakes Finals Preview could be on tap with Arthur and #2 JS ToHotToHandle from owner Shannon Henry. Should find some nice room to rush on the inside.
Good long shot pick could come from #8 CRT Majestic, who is a former Stakes Finalist and loves the outside.
Bally’s Arthur has looked too outstanding lately to turn away from her here.
Picks 7-2-8-4

*Storm Control*
Race 14 Grade A 545 Yards
Anytime 3 time Stakes Champion #6 Storm Control is slated to run, extra attention is certainly paid attention to at Palm Beach. The top box popper on the planet should have no problem with this field if he’s on top of his game. The future All-American has been an incredible treat to watch and cover all season long. Going for career win #36 this afternoon.
Solid early speed from #8 Ultimate Judge from the Agganis Kennel could disrupt things early. I’m also putting #5 HS Red Dress in my numbers, as she is a 67% board hitter on the season.
Storm Control goes back to where he has been so often this season….the Winner’s Circle.
Picks 6-5-2-8

*Atascocita Sybil*
Race 15 Grade TA 738 Yards
The best in the Marathon are ready to rumble to end the Matinee Card today.
There is only 3 Grade A racers in this field, which in my handicapping experience is an automatic add into my numbers. #4 KB’s Santa Lucia from Rader Racing has the best rush of this field and is an incredible 90% board hitter this season. Looks for her second straight W today.
A must watch on the backstretch is #3 Atascocita Jolie from Suncoast Racing. Is the most dynamic closer in the entire Club and if she is anywhere near the front early, it will be goodnight for everybody else.
Watch out for Jolie’s Kennel mate #6 Atascocita Sybil, who has looked very puppy pedestrian lately, but does have 14 wins and was the top Marathon racer here just last month. Due for a breakout race for sure.
I’m going with the closer Jolie to run down this field in dramatic fashion to end the day’s racing action.
Picks 3-4-6-5
Top Pick Race 14- #6 Storm Control
Enjoy the exciting action this afternoon fans and players!
